London Metropolitan Police choose hydrogen

The London Metropolitan Police are going green and they’re choosing hydrogen.

The force has taken delivery of 11 Toyota Mirai cars which will serve as marked and unmarked vehicles for overt and covert operations. These will be the force’s first ever entirely zero carbon emission vehicles and forms part of a wider London strategy to reduce carbon emissions, pollution, and improve air quality.

Currently there are five hydrogen refuelling stations in London – we can expect more to come!
