Scottish hydrogen push?

There seems set to be a bit of a push for hydrogen in Scotland in 2018.

The Scottish Cities Alliance (which includes Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth, and Stirling as members) and the Scottish Government will be working on a “Smart Citites” initiative which includes hydrogen power as one of its work streams.

The goal is improve the environmental impact of each city and make them each more efficient and sustainable.

The Smart Cities initiative has already made some progress on introducing commercial hydrogen refuelling station infrastructure and introducing hydrogen buses in Aberdeen and Dundee. Both cities will deploy more in 2018.
